Résumé
Résumé :
Most books and stories written about the Haitian revolution mainly focus on the men that fought in that war and almost never mention the valuable contributions of women during that period. Women played major roles in the fight against the invasion of Ayiti by European slavers since the late 15 th century all the way up to the creation of the First Independent Black Nation in the Western Hemisphere in 1804.
Some would even argue that there is no revolution without the participation of the heroines that fought, supported, and fully engaged in the liberation of Afrikan people. This book profiles ten of these women and how they left their mark as one of the SHEROES of the Haitian Revolution.
